What is Blokarting

A Blokart is a 3-Wheel Kart with a Sail propelled by the wind, much like dinghy sailing except you are on land. You could call it Land sailing, or Sand yachting. We prefer to call it Blokart sailing. A Blokart is hand steered which eliminates any requirement for length adjustment for different sized users.

Blokart sailing is an exhilarating, wind powered activity sport for all ages and is one of the fastest growing land based sailing activities. It truly is a sport that closes the generation gap. Blokart is a brilliant activity for families, groups, and corporate events.

Blokart World is owned and run by Pat Letters, senior Instructor, his wife Jo and son Martin. We provide coaching, sales and hire across Ireland. We are Ireland’s only Blokart Retailer, if you need anything Blokart we carry stock of new and used karts including spares and accessories.

We also have accreditation for Train the Trainer in Ireland and can therefore help you become a Blokart Instructor or open your own Blokart school!
